I am getting flak about the lack of interesting ladies' tours at York.  She was on a bus tour out of a convention in N.C. to Biltmore,

(overpriced but she did not get to see everything). What is offered at York, a couple of shopping mall trips, she sneers at

as not being to "Mall of America",and nothing that can't be reached on a moped.  For $15 she got into Longwood Gardens about

an hour and a half from York, and wants to go back and would like a bus tour.  That is one of the premier gardens in the world.

women can easily spend a day at it, possibly Thursday, so, how about it, for future Yorks?

Talk to eastern division in the silver hall and make suggestions.

A good place for the ladies would be the King of Prussia mall Which is about 2 hours away from York. It is the largest mall in America For store sq.footage. The mall of America is only larger because of their theme park.

The KOP mall is in king of Prussia, Pa.

I am a car nut but don't care diddly-squat about motorcycles, nor does she, although

her brother was riding across the U.S. on his at 90.  A lot of women like gardens, flowers, and like to play in them...this is not news. (I hate mowing the lawn)  It

would have to be an unusual mall to have more than the same stinking national chains

in it every other in America does.  I was last in one during the holidays 10 months ago, she says she hasn't been in one in a couple of years....garden and home stores, yes. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Questions answered!  Ignore all the above.  The shopping mall tours are a freebie  offered by, and managed by. the malls. TCA "management" (volunteers all deserving our thanks)  don't want to or have time to get into the travel agent business of putting

together a formal tour on the scale of a trip to Longwood Gardens.   (there would

probably be liability issues involved, too)
