Just thought I would share, I found out today on the TrainOrders website, that NS Eastbound Triple Crown Roadrailer 262 will be the last Roadrailer to run over the NS Chicago Line tomorrow from Sandusky Ohio area to Cleveland Ohio and takes the Cleveland Line through Bedford, Hudson, Ravenna, and into Alliance till it hits the Fort Wayne line towards Pittsburgh. Once I know the time it suppost to be in the Cleveland area tomorrow, I'll post. So if this is the last Triple Crown to take this line, I'll try to get pictures and video. Thought I would share in case some people in Northeast Ohio would like to see it for the last time running. This is very sad, but progress continues on Railroads.

Yes sad indeed and thanks for the post. I will inform friends in the area.
Well, from the latest post on TrainOrders, it looks like it won't make it to the Cleveland area till about Sunset tomorrow. But could be wrong.
This was updated on trin orders in case someone wants to know about the triple crown today. Quoted from train orders from a person named Lakota-Rail, "When I railfan Berea I log the times I see trains passing by. As for 262 at Berea I have see it at 11:00am, 12:30, 1:30 twice, and as late as 3:45. With those times in mind you can see it is not the most consistent train when it comes to timing. So use them as a guide to judge when you may want to be trackside. 261's times through Berea I have recorded as early as 11:45am and as late as 5pm. Good luck."
So it could be anytime from afternoon and late evening when it reaches Pittsburgh.
Sorry for being so long, but from my understanding, the last roadrailer ran on the 17 and last westbound I believe was the 19th. I didn't get to see it because I acctually didn't know what day was the last day. Now most of trailers are being stored at TC Yard in Sandusky. As from reading Railfan & Railroad is that they want some the TC Roadrailers to become regular containers to run on intermodals. That would be nice so we can at least see Triple Crown still run even though not a roadrailer train.
Sad. I used to see them all the time going though Olmsted Falls. A very interesting way of transporting those trailers.
Tom Jr,
Sad situation no doubt about it, another RR Loss.

Seems like a novel and efficient concept. Yet I am assuming the trailers were too heavy for road efficiency since they had to be able to not break apart.
