I just received these last week. They are outstanding. Video is not the greatest but it shows them pulling 44 heavy cars up 2% grade. I run straight DC but the sounds are still really cool.

A couple of visitors from the east (with a looong extension cord).
The train is 45 cars plus one of Malcomb's cabooses. It did take both sets of units to pull the train up a 2.5% grade on 72" radius curve at 22 smph (one set would do it but only with a running start at 45 smph - see video). Cars weighted to approx 16 oz each (except for the VGN caboose). The train in the video has one more car plus two extra (brass) cabooses. Video shot by George Lasley (who also did the scenery).
These units belong to friends. Another friend also has a set and it will probably visit sometime.
