I have not posted progress in a while... I have been in a Model Railroad Purgatory with Bench work, Bench work, and more Bench work...

 

After a much needed break with my kids and riding the 1:1 trains this summer its time to get back to business...

 

First thing was first. Add more shelves to get the trains off of the layout.... Good lord where do you guys put all this stuff...

and the boxes?!

I still could not display everything I like to run!

Thanks guys, and thanks Alex for the complements. I will do a layout tour but not sure how to start...

The layout design is in my head, no CAD or drawings. Maybe I can show an overall room shot zipped together after the "mess" is cleaned up.

There are some Detroit 3 railers meets at my house on video done by Train Room Gary if you would like to watch.

Well here is an update... will not be going to York so hope to knock down some more track laying.

Here is the Yard going in.

They yard will continue around the corner to be about 42 foot long...

The plan is to make this Passenger staging. The station will be elevated above.

I am looking at scratch building this station along this stretch. Yes I am a dreamer....

I will eliminate the road going underneath the station and just have it span the tracks.
