It's been a while since I sorta shut myself off from forums and it took something sad to start me posting again I'm talking about the Weaver troop cars on the three rail Forum.

Anyway here are some photos of how the layout (BRHRR) stands today it's all working and we meet once a week when I'm home for an operating session.

As you can see I like running Military trains and have a large military base on the layout.

Thanks for looking.

Neville.

I'm only guessing by looking, but is your overall layout room about 30' widex50' long? I have a 25'x50' basement but I shelving & a furnace, staircase & water appliances that get in the way. I hope to use the 2nd level on my shelves for track too. They average 30" or 36" at the deepest, and are 36&3/4" off the floorGREAT layout!!Thanks for sharing.Al Hummel

First: Thanks, all of you for the kind remarks.

Trackplan:

I will post one soon.

US Army boxcars:

Weaver for the smaller 40's (not made anymore) and Geller trains for the larger ones or PS-1.

I notice that Atlas are bringing them out late this year. Weaver on their site have been saying they are bringing them out to but have not seen any I did backorder some over a year ago.

Size of room: It's not as big as you think. Try 27'X27'.

Photos: I will post some more photos soon. Here is one of the Icing Platform or part of it.

Neville.

Your layout is REALLY NICE!! Well organized, busy, great cars, pleasing to the eyes. For a fellow like myself that only has pieces of track on a shelf & some 4750 cvd hoppers on that track,it's like a sigh of relief as this resembles how I want parts of my layout to look when finished. Thanks again for sharing.Al Hummel
