It's time for a layout update!

As of tonight, the piano has been moved out of the room and is ready for the Salvation Army to come and get it. Next up is the fish tank and the sofa, which are not far behind. I'll also be getting rid of smaller items that do nothing, but clutter the room.

Now begins the process of cleaning all around the room! Dusting, scrubbing floors and walls.
Once this is all done the room will do finally will be ready the start building bench work!

And while we're on the subject of bench work and track, I dropped by Legacy Station while I was back in town and grabbed a couple of pieces of Atlas O O-72 track sections to get an idea of the first curve which will be installed. I've also included a cheap diagram of what the track plan will most likely be. track plan12733651_10205822632436211_5748737964475688391_n12742560_10205822633516238_8607341940546490272_n12688342_10205822632916223_332864354071702161_n12717267_10205822633956249_6646836699015982145_n

I have no idea what the room size is, but I wanted to try some new things I learned about SCARM, so I put together this representation of your layout in an 8'x13' (96"x156") room to give you an idea of what it will look like. The outside curves are O72, the inside O54 and the oval O36. The switches are O72.

WOW! That's is really cool!
I have no idea how any of this software works. I've tried to use something similar to it in the past, but it hasn't worked out that well.
Do you think you could do another one of these for me? Here are the room stats: Length =16ft 6in.

                                                                                                                                             Width= 7ft. 4 in.

Here you go. I've outline the 4 places where tracks don't meet, so you may have to cut some fitters or see how much give there is as you lay them. I also included the SCARM file in case you want to download SCARM and try it out for yourself. Also, I just filled in a bridge area, but the door is undoubtedly wider than what I have here.
