Bob. This looks perfect. Judging by the BC door it does not appear to be a Lionel mould. Is this a Weaver Lion Scale product?
When will car #2 be shipped? Your diorama looks fine. I like any "joint" close to the tracks or not that offers "Free beer". Thanks your shared.
Roger, I think the black lettering on the lowest line of the FREE BEER sign spells 'Tomorrow'. John
OLD vs. NEW. I am a great fan of the quality of Lionel. I am also a member of the LCCA and I generally fall for the latest LCCA (Lionel) Convention product. Attached is photos of Lionel cataloged BC manufactured 1999 with product # 9464-399. This looks very much like the 2017 Convention car as my friend "Mr. Mayor" posted above. Check the details. Paint job looks quite similar and attracts my attention. Ladder and door details are different .. Wheel sets have changed. Springs are present but have been redesigned to make manufacture less costly. I wanted to avoid "saying" it.. CHEAPened seems to be in vogue. FREE BEER always arrives " Tomorrow". I am day late and $$ short!
