THE CIRCUS IS COMING TO TOWN
Come and see a great collection of model circus dioramas.
The North Central O Gauge Model Railroaders and the Lionel Collectors Club of America are sponsoring a model circus event at the Fremont Public Library in Mundelein, Ill. We will feature:
- 9 model circus layouts by Circus Model Builders; see models of the trains that were used to haul the circus.
- See the Big Top with 3 Rings and learn all about the circus when they traveled by trailers pulled with horses, and now trains.
- The main train layout at the library will be decorated for circus and carnival and we will be running model circus trains.
- A LCCA Switching Tracks Boxcar will be available and running on the club layout. Learn more about how you can become part of this unique LCCA experience.
- A Lego train layout and Thomas will be there on his own layout so children can run Thomas and his Friends while earning a Junior Engineer Certificate.
- As a Special Event for LCCA members, attendees are eligible for Lionel and LCCA Door Prizes. Come and meet fellow LCCA members from the area.
