LCCA Members Roger & Dorcie Farkash Meet up with Warren Buffet at B-H Annual Shareholder Meeting
Lionel Collectors Club of America’s (LCCA) Director Roger Farkash and his wife Dorcie (aka TrainDame) were at the Berkshire-Hathaway (Parent company of BNSF) Shareholder meeting in Omaha NE. Dorcie and Roger owners of TW TrainWorx along with Lionel’s VP of Marketing Mike Phillips were in Omaha to set up the BNSF Train layout at the BNSF booth for the Saturday, May 3 event. TW TrainWorx of Dallas TX, designed and built this 8’ X 32’ highly detailed layout to represent various aspects of the routes of the BNSF railroad operations. Every year during this event, Warren Buffet, Berkshire-Hathaway CEO stops by the booth to check out what is new on the layout and to meet with the Traingineers from TW TrainWorx for a photo opportunity. This year, Roger added a detailed sandlot baseball field vignette. When Warren Buffet, saw this tremendous layout for the first time a few years ago, he proclaimed “It’s a Masterpiece!”
Congratulations to Roger, Dorcie, all of the Traingineers at TW TrainWorx and Lionel’s Mike Phillips for a job well done. This BNSF layout brings joy and excitement to people of all ages from all around the country. Even Bill Gates was there to enjoy the layout! We hope you enjoy these photos from this event.
