LCCA Special Event at Carnegie Science Center Museum - December 14-15, 2013 .
The Lionel Collectors Club of America (LCCA) is proud to be part of the “Locomotion Weekend”- Presented by Lionel at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh PA on December 14-15. Locomotion Weekend, Presented by Lionel will feature the Carnegie Science Center loaded with operating toy train layouts of all sizes and types, many are interactive for the kids. There will be an interactive "build your own train layout" with Lionel Little Lines in the Lionel Kids Zone, appearances by Lionel’s Lenny the Lion and free give-aways. The LCCA will be there with Scenic Express to give a continuous hands-on demonstration “How to get Started with Lionel Trains” Please spread the word, bring your kids, invite all of your family and friends to this family friendly event. We hope to see you there! Also on view in museum display cases will be rare items from Lionel’s Archives - first time on public display. Of course the centerpiece will be the museum’s own Miniature Railroad & Village, newly reopened for the 2013 season complete with new additions.
