The latest rumor/ word was possibly February. They were originally due the end of last year but they were delivered with a defective component. Lionel sent them back to the manufacturer to be fixed before they made it to any store shelves.
The delay stinks but at least folks didn't buy a defective unit only to send it back in for repair.
