Is it possible to use a #991 LEGACY CAB-2 Remote Controller with a #992 LEGACY Command Base/Charger to control a Millhouse auto indexing turntable?

A 990 base and Cab2 controller can control an Millhouse turn table. You should contact Al to see if you need any upgrading to the electronics but he has been demoing this for a few York shows now. I know a friend of mine is in the process of doing this now and has been in contact with Al.
You can control your turntable with your cab 2 I have it on my layout but you will need a part from z stuff to complete the process, The unit works in tmcc mode only so your cab 2 will be in the cab1 mode to work it, I have it on my turntable and it makes it fun to see people reaction when they see it go around without knowing how it happened
I'm not familiar with the Z STUFF product for this. I would think you would need the ERR DC commander to drive the turn table motor.

The DC Commander will do the trick just fine. I'm sure there are other ways to do the magic. We have the AMC on one at the club.
Ok, you have my attention, lol! Please point me in the right direction as to what parts I would need to do this.

First off, it depends on the turntable you have, specifically the motor and it's requirements. The AMC is good for most motors. There is now the Lionel AMC-2 with compatibility with the LCS system.
Thanks John, i have a Miller turntable which operates on DC voltage.....I believe the ERR would be my best bet if I were to attempt this conversion.
Thanks-Pete
I just ordered a Miller turntable and asked the same question and this is the reply I received
An easier way to control the table from wherever you want around the layout would be to control it via either a Lionel cab 1 or cab 2 Legacy remote. All that is needed to do this is to wire a Z-Stuff data line driver to our keypad if you already have our TMCC chip in the indexer system. If you do you will have the attached page in the last page of your indexing instructions.
Obviously, if they have a TMCC option for the TT that would be the best method. Can that be added if you don't have it?
