LEGACY ANTENNA

In the plastic bag that has the Antenna for the Legacy base is a small lite-amber colored plastic item. Nothing in the instructions about its placement. Where might it go? is it just to keep the pin in the antenna receptacle covered when transporting? some other reason it is there other than to confuse me?

It's just a protective cover for the connector.
