My cab light is flashing 4 times, but when I look in the owners manual it only describes flashing lights for 1, 2, or 3. Any thoughts? How to fix? Thank you

Presumably you've pressed RESET so the locomotive could recheck itself again?
Flashing 4 times is the Aux smoke element.
1 Main drive motor stalled.
2 Smoke 1 element problem. (Main Stack Unit)
3 Smoke 1 fan problem. (Main Stack Unit)
4 Smoke 2 element problem. (Whistle Unit)
5 Smoke 2 fan problem. (Whistle Unit)

Reset was a NO GO. Time for parts. It's annoying, since I rarely run with smoke, however we had company and I wanted to show them off, and of course.... problems.... finicky buggers
FWIW, when running without smoke, you have to actually turn the smoke unit off. You can't simply refrain from adding smoke fluid.
Again, FWIW.............

DUH?????
Joe: Just trying to help out....in case someone else reads this thread down the road.
More than one person has ruined a smoke unit by not adding fluid. It happens....unfortunately.
