Someone has probably already answered this so forgive please.   Will the Legacy Powermaster drop in to an existing TMCC environment (original CAB1 and CAB1 base) and function correctly for both TMCC operation and for conventional?   I want to replace the original Powermaster since it is the 135W only version.

Manual says yes.  A couple of sources I've asked say no.

Yes, no sweat.  The ONLY issue is, it requires the BASE1 command base as it receives the track signal.  The original TMCC PowerMaster communicated directly with the CAB1 and didn't need the BASE1.

Since you have the base, this is a non issue, and the Legacy PowerMaster will give you enhanced performance to boot.  You have access to all the macro commands to operate PS/1 and MTH DCS locomotives accessing many of the features normally only available in command.

Gunrunnerjohn, I noticed the instructions on how to use my Legacy hand held remote to utilize the macro commands for DCS in conventional mode in the Powermaster owners manual. Do you know of a more complete list of the macro commands you refer to in your reply than provided in the Powermasters owners manual?

Thanks in advance,  Mike
