Educate a career MTH guy, please.
With MTH ending production, I need to go back to school on Lionel. I have Legacy remote and base that I bought back when we had a club that rotated meetings. Even bought a Legacy Atlantic. But I really don’t know the Lionel lines That I can run with it.
Looks to me that Lion Chief Plus and lower, no.
Lion Chief Plus 2.0, Legacy, Visionline, yes.
Learning to use it will be a different story.

... plus all of the TMCC locos from the mid 90s onward (Lionel, Weaver, Atlas, K-Line).
And you can run TMCC accessories with it, including stuff like the Legacy PowerMasters, that gives you conventional running from the CAB2 remote as well.

It will also operate MTH locos "conventionally" with the addition of a Legacy powermaster( or older Lionel TPC unit). The powermaster or TPC allows control of the |MTH bell, whistle, electrocouplers and some of the PFA right from the Legacy handheld in a conventional environment
