legacy smoke control with dcs?

when running legacy engines with the dcs handheld remote. does dcs have low med hi smoke with each press of 9 on the keypad? or is it just press 9 once for full on high? the app has the l,m,h feature I know, but I like using the remote and was just curious. I like to run my smoke units on med to save the batting from getting chard so fast.

also what does relative above the soft key do for tmcc/legacy engines?
