My title asks the question.  While reading about the new Vision Line GG1 I discovered that Legacy software version 1.6 is now available. Had I not been reading that thread I might not have noticed until later. Since I have the Legacy WiFi I was able to rewrite my modules and update my system pretty easily.

So, again, would there be a way of listing the most current version of the Legacy software, and maybe even the LSU, as a thread at the top of this forum? I apologize in advance if I have missed it on the forum but I did look and could not find anything like I am asking for.

Thoughts?

When a new release is out, I always start a new thread announcing it unless someone beats me to it. 1.6 was no exception. Once announced it was also referenced in a couple of other threads in the Legacy forum. I don't think it's fair to the moderators to have to sticky software releases. Some come at a rapid pace. Keeping an eye on the Legacy forum will ensure that you will know when there is a new release of Legacy, iCab, LCS or other Legacy related updates.

What would be better is for Lionel to include the announcement in their news letter.

I try to follow MartyE's posts to try and keep up with Legacy items. He really is good about posting new information.

And I think he has the right idea here, this should be Lionel's responsibility, not OGR's. They should have a link on their opening webpage in addition to sending the info in a newsletter. I think their website would be best as probably not everyone subscribes to their newsletters. Not everyone reads the OGR forums either, but they may likely visit the Lionel website once in a while.

I also agree with others about too many stick's already.
