Anyone who might be interested in "building" a Crocodile, Lego has introduced one for the first time. It is bigger than the MTH one (3" longer).
The set is $99.99 and here is the Link to it.

It's not actually the first time. I remember when the older 9v versions were blown out for $30 each.
There already is a longer thread about this locomotive, with lots of photos too. It's been out for months.
This is also the wrong forum, so expect this to get deleted.

Here’s a link to the discussion from this past summer: https://ogrforum.com/...o-crockadile-release
Thanks - I rarely go to that forum, so that is why I missed it. Thanks for the link.
Unfortunately, there is a HUGE gap between both articulated sections and the central cab unit! Ruins what is otherwise a VERY NICE model! Close, but no cigar! :-(

Rivet counting Legos?

An assembled example is currently on our kitchen counter. It’s a nice set. My son bought it. He now falls into the adult category and has always liked both the O scale and LEGO scale trains. It’s a nice addition to the Santa Fe Super Chief , BNSF GP-38, and the Maersk train set he already has.
No complaints from me, especially since the market value. of his LEGO trains have all increased up to 10 times the original price. That’s better than my trains.
Is this AC powered?
I believe it is DC so it can run on batteries.
Lots of discussion on this already. I posted some pictures next to other O gauge equipment.
Thanks,
John Z.
While not at all a scale model, the proportions of the Lego Crocodile are not bad and nobody would fail to recognize it as a model of the famous Swiss prototype.
Here's my 22 year old son's Lego model which compares favorably with my Marklin HO equivalent.

Thank you!
