Santa dropped by our place and left a new HallMark/Lionel Santa Train, she is a Beauty, runs well and is a great addition to the PCRR Christmas layout. The Santa Trains now has it's own designated loop at the foot of our Christmas Bear Tree.

I agree, Cleo. Too bad it's steadfast high price point for an 0-8-0 rtr round the tree starter set and limited visibility of it running in Hallmark stores contributed to lackluster sales and without robust sales, Hallmark decided not to make additional cars for it.

FYI - in an apparent attempt to blow out Hallmark's remaining stock on this 2015 production run, some select Hallmark Stores in southeastern PA/NJ currently have a Special 1/2 off ($200) closeout sale on this set with a Keepsake ornament purchase ~$15. No returns. Do your research and better hurry!!!
