Very nice and creatively tucked out of the way.Nick
Check out this thread.
Joe,
At first I wondered why you sent me the link. Then it dawned on me, my screw up. I became a member yesterday and tried to post on the link you sent me. I just screwed it up. I think I learned how to post but can't see my post until someone likes it. Computers were never my strong point.

I moved from RealTrax to Fastrack after approximately 20 years. Having gotten into Fastrack for my son's carpet railroad earlier this year, we already had a number of pieces so this is the first time the Christmas tree layout was more than just a loop. I added a switch to put a siding close to the tree stand so we could have a second MOW train sitting there with the new crane car and boom car. I also added 2 other switches so my son and I could do "temporary expansion" for an hour or so of expanded fun with minimal work. I tried to pack a lot into a little space. It has switches, an operating track, LCS WiFi, OTC, Ser2, STM2, sensor track and a Challenger pulling a sensor car, a vision line sound reefer, operating signalman car and an operating milk car in addition to a 2015 World Series car and some Menard's flatbed cars. It also sports a gantry 282 reissue from 2001 with a just installed crane commander.
But best of all, the whole thing is powered by a KW that my grandfather bought in 1950 and which powered his Christmas tree layout during my very first Christmas in 1964. That my son is playing with something from his great-grandfather is just too school.

Also odd, there is no "like" option on your other post at the bottom, so it may not be you at fault. Check for updates, and reset/clear your browser, but fyi this thread has been performing irradticaly for days.
This Christmas I brought out my Lionel standard and O gauge trains, photographed them in sepia tone for an old fashioned Chrstmas look.
