Brian,

If you need somebody to vouch for you, I am your man.  I will be more than happy to tell Santa that you have been a good boy all year long.

A bit early for asking Santa anything yet, but when I went to York in October, my 8 year old daughter asked me to bring her a train set. She added that she wanted one that needs wires, like the ones I have.

A few years ago, our little girl made the paper while we were visiting Santa. When she sat on his lap, a reporter from the paper was watching. Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas, to which she replied,"I sent you a list". He didn't miss a beat before he asked her when she mailed it out. When she said a week ago, he explained that it took quite some time for the mail to get all the way to the North Pole, and that she ought to just tell him then just in case it doesn't make it up there in time.

Sorry for getting a bit off topic there...

Thanks Jim, a good word is always appreciated. I know you also have been a good boy as Santa is making sure you don't have to wait too long for that Sante Fe Hi-Level set you asked for last Christmas.

Better than no trains at all. If you get them, try to get "quality" items, like KATO engines and track. I run a great looking, great running Kato GG1.

That makes me feel better.  I have been looking at Kato sets.  Was not sure if they were recommended or not.  I liked the way they looked the best.
