Just received a new 1933401 GP35 with bluetooth.  The universal remote picked it up and runs fine.  the lionchief app also works fine but it does not recognize the engine for what it is.  It thinks this GP35 is a generic steam engine. 

Is there a data base I need to update in the lionchief app since this is a newly produced engine?  I thought the data needed would be in the memory of the engine but perhaps not. Thanks for any ideas.

As an Android guy, I disagree.  But I love the snark.

Both Android and iOS are due for an upgrade. The Android is ready and will probably go out next week. The iOS is a little further out.

The delay in the updates is due to a new feature we've developed between the APP and the Universal Remote. Stay tuned.

Yes, the OTA APPs will have V1.3 coming soon.

IOS 9.3.5 on a six year old iPad mini.  That's the latest version that can be installed on the iPad.  

The app was deleted/reinstalled last year after purchasing the Santa Fe Super Chief set.
