My first tinplate. I have an opportunity to purchase this engine, like new and was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is a good runner or not. I'm aware it runs in conventional mode. Thanks!
Do you mean an MTH 11-6024-0 260E locomotive? If so, the "0" suffix indicates it has a "traditional" open frame motor, no ProtoSound or any other modern electronics. It will only run in "conventional mode".
