A good friend of mine inherited his uncle's prewar train set. In the set was a 165 crane complete with box. The crane has not been used in many years. The motor was frozen and the gears were glued in place by the original grease. Wire was turning to dust by just looking at.

I completely disassembled it. Cleaned it. Fresh lube, oil, all new wires. I ordered a complete set of 22 awg wires so I could match the original color coding. All new 6 pin ribbon cable to the controller. It was a very enjoyable project to resurrect my friends family heirloom. It should server his family well for another 80 - 100 years!  Enjoy the pics and a small video...20210705_12110320210623_15170120210630_07424420210624_18395420210625_12495420210627_14192420210627_14191120210623_15161620210623_15163020210623_15162520210623_15164620210623_15164120210627_18134920210627_18125620210705_11445220210627_22121220210630_074233
