Lionel 2024 Catalog, Volume 2 - What you ordering?

i am ordering the mr muffins bicentennial GG1 even tho i have the previous release,  i like the customizable volume that goes along with bluetooth control. still havent decided if i want anything else.

Choking the credit card with a New Haven freight set (R1 with Vanderbuilt tender - Finally!) and New Haven PAs in green livery (finally!).

Nothing called my name in this catalog...

Ordered 4866 GG-1 and the N&W Y6b (2197).  Also ordered the AEC flat car and tank car to go with the GP-9 AEC set that should be coming out soon!

Final order was a N&W Y6b, Seaboard mountain and an ACL Weaver mold hopper.

Vision Line GG1 freight set, Southern USRA Light Mountain 4-8-2, a Milwaukee Road ribbed-side boxcar, and B & O USRA 0-6-0 swinging bell switcher!  Seriously considered a Y6b too.  Way more than I had originally planned on ordering, but IMHO this was the strongest Lionel catalog in a number of years.

Dang @Conrail6358  Ryan Kunkle knows that "I Believe".

While not officially in the catalog, this will be my 3rd Polar Express Engine.  I have the 2017 Berk, the 2019ish Bi-Polar, and now a GG-1 coming.  Have no idea what I'll pull with it but I'm sure it could fill in for the Berk every now and then. 

@MartyE I’m in for the PE GG1 as well! Looked so ridiculous but so cool at the same time 😅 I can’t wait to see it in person.

The Minuteman set looks really good. I think Lionel will have a hit with that one. If I had the extra cash, I would have liked to have dabbled into scale a bit with that offering. I will be eager to see how it lives up to expectations when they get into folks hands.

Amtrak SW1.  I may need to figure out how to add two more pickup rollers if it only has 2.

If I were younger and had fewer trains I would have bought all the NYC, New Haven and Burlington Northern locos and rolling stock offered.    Maybe some Area 51 stuff too.

Hah! Thankfully 3 are done with college, out of the house, on their own, and two are even married, so someone else's problems. Should probably change my User ID to "OnlyOneToGo."

I don't know if it's been posted elsewhere, Mr. Muffins Trains has what seems like a ton of custom GG1s offered...I don't know what the cutoff pre-order date is.

Pretty much given up trying to find the Lionel 38717 Milwaukee Rd F7s that match the 25622/23 18" Milwaukee aluminum passenger cars (from 2011) I have. From the catalog, the new Milwaukee C Liners look like the matching colors, so those will be a go IF, after they show up, the colors do indeed match. Fingers crossed on that.
