Lionel 2027280 vistavision will it match the GG1 Vision Line Amtrak I have? Yes I know it says it will match existing but not sure if that includes what I have.

What the catalog says it that this car will match existing and new Amtrak passenger car sets, not that it will match the VL Amtrak GG1. I would not assume that they are saying this passenger car and the Amtrak engine will a match. Recent experience teaches that you have to be very careful to go by exactly what Lionel is saying and not assume more. You could ask Lionel if they are using the same finish on these cars as the GG1 but don't know if they will have a definite answer to that.
Thank you Hancock. I even asked a few dealers and they basically said the same thing. I just wasnt sure if there are any inside Lionel people here.
