What is the difference between these two 260E locomotives? . I am interested in purchasing a Tin Plate 260E with a Green painted chassis and matching 260T tender. Two are online at the Bay and seem close in condition (I think they are expensive) and the E-switch's (did prewar call it an e-switch?) are different. Looking into the cab, one switch slides from about the 7 o'clock to the 5 o'clock position. On the other, it would slide from the 7 o'clock all the way up to about the 1 o'clock position. I don't get the difference between these two loco's. Do they operate differently, does one do more than the other? Thank you.
