I'm in the process of building an old school Lionel layout with tubular track.
I've been considering using the 350 Transfer Table (either original or Lionel remake) to make the most of the space inside an O-31 diameter oval, and have sidings come off of it for unused engines and rolling stock.
My question is how far is each track spaced from each other? I may or may not consider adding the table extension, so how much would each of the four parallel lines be with each other? I'm trying to calculate if I can fit larger accessories like the 97 coal elevator and 164 log loader.
