I just picked up some electro couplers during Lionel's half off parts sale to add to my 6-18952 Santa Fe Alco PAs. I was wondering if someone could let me know where to wire front and rear couplers to the DC LCRU used in the locomotive. Thanks.

Your locomotive was equipped with a magnetically operated coupler in the front.
As you discovered in your schematic, the electronics to control electronic couplers may not be present. You would likely need to upgrade your control board with a more capable board - ERR is the place to look:

All LCRUs are capable of controlling electrocouplers. No need to upgrade to ERR. I just need to know where to hook the couplers on the board. My guess is the unused connector in the middle of the board. One terminal is probably front, the other rear, with the other wire from each coil coupler going to ground.
I have the NYC version of this PA. The attached diagram is what I came up with. I got this by looking at a unit that comes with electrocouplers factory connected, and uses the LCRU, in my case NW-2 (6-18959) in Supplement 41.

Awesome! Thanks. I'll try that out and report back.
The diagram above was correct. Added electro couplers front and rear following the above diagram and they work perfectly.
