Lionel # 64 prewar and post war lamp post

I would like to know how to tell the difference between a Lionel pre war 1940-1942 #64 lamp post and a Lionel post war 1945-1949 #64 lamp post.

The Greenburg 2021 price guide lists the #64 pre war lamp post for $35.00 to $70.00 and the #64 post war lamp post for $13.00 to $13.35.

How can I tell the difference? I have five of them and they all look the same. Have purchased them on E Bay over the years.
