I need to re-attach one of the three wires going to the circuit board of the tender. I think I know where but I would like to be sure before attempting to solder. Does anyone have the schematic or a picture of the circuit board. The three wires are blue, black and brown. I need to re-solder the brown wire.

This picture is off the underside of the tender sound board of the 784 hudson which should be the same. It’s hard to see but the brown is soldered to the big glob of solder next to the black wire.

Perfect! Thanks Rod. That is right where I thought but wanted to make sure. As they say, a picture is worth a 1,000 words.
Rod, I just noticed that the blue wire to the engine bulkhead is also loose. I think I know where it goes but could you look please. Thank you.

You’ll have to excuse my artistry. I made this diagram of the brush plate on the 785 Hudson which should be the same. The hi lighted item shows the blue from the engine harness.

Thanks again to you Rod. My 783 is once again running with sounds as expected. I am glad I asked as that was not the place I first thought. Not sure what would have happened but I'm glad that I asked. This Forum is great for getting trouble shooting assistance. Thanks again.
You’re welcome Dillon. It’s great pleasure knowing when we all help each other. Enjoy that 783.
