I have a Lionel #990 Legacy Command Set that came with the Legacy Big Boy about 15 years ago. I used it only a few times and then packed it away and went exclusively MTH. I know a the time you could send it into Lionel for the initial upgrade and after that you were able to upgrade it yourself. I know where it is, but have not looked at in in years. I know I did not leave any batteries in it, but can anyone think of anything that might not make it worth sending it into Lionel for the initial upgrade, if they would do it after all these years.
