As I recall, the two cars behind the GN U33C were streamlined combination cars from the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey circus set. Nothing terribly new in that. One loop on the test layout is S gauge Fastrack.

No SD70ACe's were to be seen during the open house. In fact very little newer Flyer was to be seen during the open house. Remember that Canfield is a repair center and not devoted to new product development.

Sure we can. The Y3, however, is more down my alley.

While I was attending, I had a chance to ask Mike Reagan about renewing the supply of replacement Seuthe(TM) units of the Mikado and Pacific. As some may know, Canfield has none at the moment. They were counting on the building of the Southern passenger sets to provide an opportunity to fabricate many extras. The set was, as most of you know, canceled. One route to making useable replacements involves swaging a more commonly available smoke unit to permit it to fit in the engines, but this operation usually results in the interior glass breaking. Mike assured me that he is working on a viable solution to and resolution of the problem.
