Oh wow!!!
Now that is what I'd love to run!! Can't afford them though but that is awesome.
Do you have more pictures or links about your layout? I'm a passenger train lover and particularly like Amtrak and i see more amtrak in the background. Would love to see more about your layout!, thanks @choochoopaul!!
And I love the scale 150mph speed of the Acela in the first video too!
Very nice guys!
Paul, how many cars were in the original sets?
Thank you all for the videos!
Neat videos, thanks for sharing.
Great clip Tom! Hope you guys are doing well and the trains are running smoothly.
Do you have more video of it to show? That was so tantalizing.. :-)

I'm rarely impressed by model railroad videos but this is one of the best I've seen. I have stood beside the tracks at the station in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and witnessed this same scene at 90 miles-per-hour. Yours is very realistic.

Very impressive that your 3 ACELAs are running and the pantagraphs appear to be working on front & rear units. Are your ACELAs running as original equipment out of the box OR have they been modified/hard wired?? Just got my new set out of box and having problem lining up the couplers to have communication thru the 6 cars and engines. Also, some doors not opening closing properly. Do you have any helpful suggestions.
thank you.
Darn you guys! When I see something that awesome, I want it!!

Bobbyd -- The original set was the forward and rear engines, and three passenger cars. The expansion set added three more cars for a total of six cars and two engines. In real life that is the way they are operated in real life. In the video, the customer had the original set, plus two expansion sets, and wanted them all to work together.
W&W -- The three consists of Acela's in the videos are all stock, running and operating with stock couplers.
Tom, awesome train on an awesome layout. Great video!
