You guys need to do more "reply with quote". We will never get to page 13 with this casual approach. And this is a serious matter that desires page 13 status.

Roger that. I'm doing my best. As the person who started this thread I'm amazed how many people just want to rain on someone's enjoyment of the hobby in their own way. It's ok you don't like the car or how it was distributed but some of these comments are really surprising.
It's a nice car, but the only way I would buy a limited anything at this point is if the proceeds goes to a charity. I guess I'm just jaded, I have more York MTH cars then I will ever know what to do with, not to mention special addition Lionel cars all still in their boxes.
There is one special addition Lionel box car that I bought that I still cherish and display and that's the B&O car they produced for the rebuild of the B&O RR museum round house.
Like I said it was for charity in support of an institution I love.

Some folks are upset with Ro but this reminds me of the MTH Kennywood cars available at the park only. Rumor has it that a local dealer in Pittsburgh went into the park with friends and relatives and bought up a lot of the cars to sell at the store at 3x the cost. I don't know if this is true or not but a day or so after they were released the park was sold out.
It wasn't only Ro. I saw at least one other dealer at the front of the line. Hey, the insiders always get the best deals. Fact of life. Fair? No!
