Hello everyone, I am probably going to buy the subject crossing gate but can you advise if you have to use the track and platform it comes with and just the gate? I am currently using gargraves track and would like to continue using that if it's not too much of a problem. Please advise. Thank you very much, Jerry

I purchased it with the intention of disassembling it and using it with Gargraves.  Not too difficult to take apart.  The road pieces are separate and can be removed.  The circuit board can be removed and mounted elsewhere.  Their are plugs for the gate itself that feed down through a leg.  Plenty of slack to mount the circuit board under the gate under the table.  I am going to fill in the tracks with my own wood. I am not a fan of the supplied roadway.  I might make my own bases for the legs.  My only complaint is that the thing is compressed to the point that I believe it is actually S scale.

The two arrows point to the connections that go to each of the two isolated sections - white to the left and green/gray to the right. The other two go to other rails - black to center, red to un-isolated rail.  I have spare JST plugs so I didn't use the one that came with it.  Mount the circuit board under the table and plug everything back in.

Thank you very much. Can you wire it now once you taking it apart farther away from The Crossing so it triggers farther away instead of real close to the signal. Also, stupid question but how can I add wires to the plug to go to the rails you suggested outside of cutting the plug off. I really appreciate your help, best, Jerry

Hi Brendan,  I'm really sorry to be a pest but I have one more set of questions. I finally got a chance to go over what you sent me and basically what I would like to do is get the signal to activate around 20 in each Direction. From what I grasp I need to have a plug with the wires plugged into the PCB board and then wire them to the different track sections you noted. I don't have any plugs and I am wondering where I can get a couple with th short  wires installed if possible? I can add to the length to the short wires as I need . If possible I would gladly pay you for two or three plugs  and your troubles and go from there. What do you think? Down the road I am hoping to get two signals.
