I bought these tree armatures at the RIT train show last week, and would like to know what the plant actually is. Any ideas?

Maybe sagebrush? Looks similar.

I sure did. A whole lot to see on that layout. I even sent a note to Bill Dimenna because they had the True Scene Modeling billboard up on a hill. I have his product every where on my layout. That show is my favorite.
Checkout, Sagebrush trees for wargaming on the big auction site and you will see them. They also came with SuperTree’s when you bought the complete tree building set from Scenic Express.
I glue Super Tree scraps to these using a hot glue pot from Surebonder. Then apply flock.
