Hi have a problem with my eng was not working ,found  it has 3 wires going to a sound adjusting pot red blue yellow, and they hook up to a pcb with a number 691-RSOE-A00 on it

tried to look it up on the lionel website got no hits. can anyone out there help me. i'm thinking the number on the board is not a production number just a board no.

if anyone could give me a clue i would appreciate very much

i can send or post a picture if it would help

hi all

the board is in an MTH locomotive not an lionel... some one had problems with the pro 2 sounds and switch it..

that my dilemma

but if lionel did make this for a while, then i was hoping someone out there might just

have an answer... like the lionel board might have the same wiring scheme like on other newer board...

thank you for reading this.

It is an MTH but someone modified it with these parts... that is my dilemma

that is the question i'm asking. does anyone have an idea what this lionel board is and how it was wired up. three wires broke off the volume control pot and i need some kind of diagram or picture on how to solder them back in place.

it is in a

Does the pot to board cable plug in? Try just soldering them in the order they are on the plug.

thanks for the railsounds lite family, link. BMORAN4

looked over the pages and it is or could be a railsounds lite board. but the 3 wires to the volume control switch is not a plug in type.

i do know where one of the wires goes. the blue one now have to figure where the red and yellow goes to and soldier them on

going to try to look on the lionel site tonight and see if i can get an older model board and it there are any Wiring schematic for sound board

you have been a great help. thank you
