Thanks Charlie! Now...... what if there isn't anything we want in the catalog?
Trust me RickO there will be something you like in it!
Thanks Charlie, I'll have my finger poised on my mouse button.
So we need to wander off this weekend at the LCCA event and find a pallet full of them!
I wish this announcement came tomorrow afternoon - it would have made the weekend really seem to last longer. Now it is also going to make the next 1.5 working days seem to drag, as well... Oh well, I guess I will be taking my morning break later than usual on Monday.

A new catalog on a Monday morning might make the fact that it is Monday and back to work not so bad!

I know what I am hoping for.... And if by chance it appears, I already have it on pre-order just in case.
Who wants to take bets they don't make the appointed time?
My wish is a negative one. I hope they don't catalog any more Auto Racks. I already need two tracks in our club staging yard to hold mine. If I go for any more the yardmaster will rip me a new one.
I will however go for more scale PFEs if announced and any Boy Scout stuff!
Chris, we WILL post it at that time also. All 5 catalogs too

Great!! Just want you to know by "They" I was referring to Lionel! I know you guys keep your promises.
The Auto Carrier schemes they have had made in the factory all have paint schemes that are based on railroad names and TTX markings after 1991. If you have mostly modern locomotives these are appropriate.
What the people at Lionel have not applied to the Auto Racks on 89' Flat Cars are Railroad paint schemes and Trailer Train markings from the 1975-1990 period.

Based on the last four times Lionel announced a certain time and date to have a catalog available on their web site, what was the percentage of accuracy?
A new Pere Marquette 1225 with whistle steam like the PE. I wanted a SOO Line Auto Rack with the SOO logo on the side.

The SOO LINE auto rack on the Trailer Train TTGX 89' Flat Car were originally Milwaukee Road Auto Racks. Those Soo Line Auto Racks were painted in 1988 when the new SOO image was introduced.

Does anybody know when the volume 2 catalogue will be released? (I thought that I'd get in first with this one. )

Mike Reagan stopped by the local toy train shop again last Saturday. He assured me (us) that everything in the new catalog is spot on correct!

Mike R. has stated to me that he understands how important it is for the catalog to be accurate because of the build to order approach. He has put a lot of work in this catalog and I am confident it will be one of the best offerings in recent years.
Does anyone know what the "5" different Lionel catalogs are?

The hype train has left the station.
RTR, Signature, Track, American Flyer and Holiday Items.
Ed,
Now if we only had a list of what was in there. Ya know, a list with SKU's and item descriptions. It would be wrong to post such a list, wouldn't it? What about a partial list of Steamers, Diesel's, sets, and rolling stock? Still wrong? OK, let's not post it.
Stu
Steve, now that is taking good care of your dog. Give him plenty of rest before the catalog is up.
It is nice to know just when the Lionel catalog will be available.
Chris,
You forgot . . . . .
Where is that "Whistle Steam" guy who keeps posting:
"No whistle steam, no credit card steam?"
Hi Mike
Hi Jon Z
Hi Phil
He is SO annoying !
I posted before. But I wanted to add, I'm really looking forward to this catalog. After this long ice cold snowy winter and spring in the air, I can't wait until Monday at 11am
I just hope there's a few beautiful steam engine's, that haven't been done already.
Alex
FINALLY, for once I'm not working on the day the catalog comes out! Can't wait! This should be quite interesting, with all 5 catalogs coming out at once.
Now I can't wait to see our sneak peak this Saturday at Lionel's Red Carpet Event.
