I am really interested to see Mike Reagan's influence on this catalog. I suspect it will only be for the best.
I'm sure there will be some typos, but I won't condemn the quality control of the products for it unless delivered with the typos.

I am not at Liberty to discuss the new catalogs but I can tell you they are packed with goodies. Mike, Howard, Bob and Mike R did agreat job with this years choices!
Things are looking up if the new Track and Power catalog is any indication.

Usually by now theres "juicier stuff" leaked. I remember photos of the s3 being posted like a week before the catalog was released.
I also thought there was one internet wholesaler that always had locos and prices listed early, can't remember the name. I'm guessing Lionel may have "clamped down" on this.

Wow lots of new track and switches that were never offered before... I can see a few members ripping up their fast track layout to do some interesting modifications.
Did not see if the track sensors were available separately?
I think this will be the best signature catalog in a long time... I can feel it.

So, question on how this works. Does this mean that the hobby stores have the catalogs, but are told that they can't give them out until after the date and time? Or does this mean that's the soonest the hobby store will see any copies? I ask because I want to be sure to get a copy of the catalogs, but my normal LHS that gave me them for free is closing soon, and the other LHS changes for catalogs.

Wasn't that Wholesale Trains? I remember the recent catalog where everyone got excited that a DM&IR "Yellowstone" had been rumored, but then that dealer posted the photos showing it was a fantasy scheme EM-1 and burst everyone's bubble lol

If you saw the pricing in the new T&P catalog then you can see how Lucky those where who got a ZW from us when it was on sale two weeks ago! :-)

I see no prices listed in the the T&P catalog, has Lionel dropped showing the prices of all items in all of the catalogs?

Even though I didn't pay quite as low as the sale price for my 2 early last year, I'm thinking the price probably went up enough that I am better off than I would have been if I waited until later to buy one.
