I've been checking the Lionel website this morning. Originally, the 2012 catalog was supposed to be posted at 9:30. Then the countdown clock was changed to a 9:45 posting. It has been changed again to a 10:00 posting.
I guess someone at Lionel got held up in traffic coming to work this morning.

That is very strange. My browser still shows the countdown clock counting down. And, it just re-adjusted for a delay to 10:10 am.
I wonder if they are restricting the number of sessions by just displaying the countdown clock rather than giving a message that no sessions are available?
That new acela looks real good to me. Also the NS #7207 MAC80. Very Exicited but as usual will have to wait and watch the shipping dates keep slipping back!!!!

OK, I have gotten into the catalog.
The main Lionel page still shows the countdown clock, but if I go to the tab for catalogs, I can get into it.
Sorry for the false alarm. But, I still want to know why the countdown clock is continuing to run and keeps increasing the remaining time.

Looks interesting. The vintage trucks with trailers are nice.
Noted the California Zephyr set the domes seem to be cut off in the images in the catalogue
here is what it looks like on the lionel website;
Page 132 says that the minimum FasTrack curve is 036, and on page 134 they list an 031 curve.
