Just received my NYC     Lakeshore Limited tinplate train set. LCCA you have outdid yourself this     time. The set is beautiful.

 

FOLKS, The LCCA/LIONEL CORP. O gauge tinplate sets are starting to arrive at members home. i have posted an e-mail sent to me today by a happy member. thanks all for your continued support of the club.

Received mine today. The locomotive is DOA. The e-unit buzzes, but no motion forward or backward. I oiled the loco as suggested in the instructions, but still no difference in performance. Also tried different transformers - CW 80 and a modern ZW with a 180 watt power brick.

 

What is my next step?

 

BTW - this set is one of the best looking sets I own. Simply gorgeous. The cars are truly works of art! I may have to look more closely at tinplate. This could be costly.

please call lionel corp. tinplate at MTH. they manufacture all LIONEL'S TIN. 1-410-381-2580 follow promps for servive. I know all loco are tested. could have taken a shot in shipping. keep me informed
