Like Nicole says, the accessory output of the CW-80 is adjustable, a very useful feature. Here is the link to the instructional video, fast forward to 2:20 to view the accessory output workings:
Due to the waveform of the CW-80 output you must use "a true RMS" voltmeter to get an accurate reading. According to Bob Nelson's voltage correction chart on the CTT forum a CW-80 reading of 14 volts with a typical DVM is actually 17.3 volts.
