Lionel Ethanol Cars

Hi All,

 

I must say, I am quite thankful that based on Charlie Nassau's comments a few days back, that Lionel's new ethanol tanker 3-packs are FINALLY being shipped.  It seems almost impossible to get your hands on the VL ethanol tankers from a few years back.

 

Have you guys seen the recent prices on ebay????  Two VL 3-pack sets went for $1000+ last week and the non-VL (no freight sounds) supplemental 3-pack went for $510!!  

 

I would love to have the VL ethanol cars w/sounds...but $1000+ for 3 freight cars is a bit out of my range.  That being said, I have the new PROCOR 3-pack on pre-order, can't wait for them to arrive!

 

Any one else have Lionel's new tankers on pre-order?  I wonder how they will stack up (detail-wise) against Atlas O's new Trinity 25,500 Gallon Tankers.

I only pre-ordered the ADM's from Charles Ro, I already have both sets of the Vision & non Vision cars. I will be getting mine Tuesday along with my SP TankTrain Oil Can set and all of the new TankTrain cars. Along with the CN Piggy Back set and some other trains.

 

I have finally made the decision that it is time for me to downsize. I need to make room for the new, and no longer do I need to keep all of my multiples of this and that. Come on York...
