Does anyone know if Lionel will come out with the ACF centerflow hoppers in the Pressuraide version?
Lionel has already made the ACF centerflow covered hoppers in the 4650 and 5250 cf versions. I need 4 of these in the pressuraide version. I modeled in HO and Atlas made these in HO scale only. It seems to me that Lionel should be able to make these in O scale with no problem.

I have not seen those Aluminum Hoppers in a long while. I believe that Aluminum cars have gone by the wayside as its expensive to make. Even most of the new streamlined passenger cars have gone plastic. Golden Gate Depot is the only one that has made aluminum Passenger cars and they are pricey!

The aluminum hoppers can be found for sale on "the bay" once in a blue moon. I can just imagine Lionel using real metal for the pipes on the underside of the Pressuraide hoppers. The thought of that is making my head spin.
Don't forget that linel purchased the Weaver models Ultraline of freight cars which includes the ACF 4 bay centerflow car. I wouldn't be surprised if all centerflow cars going foward will be off of that mold.
