That's impressive!
What did you do, offer them a complimentary cookbook??

John,
Service from Lionel has improved dramatically. I recently returned a PS 3 Unit to MTH, actually December. Per their service team, the expected return date to me was estimated for 16 weeks which means I won't see the unit until the end of March early April.
Lionel is making a huge effort.

Yes I did, but it had to be autographed too bad the thread got deleted
I sent my Lionchief+ B&O loco and tender to Lionel for smoke unit repair.
They arrived there on a Thursday and were on a truck back to me Monday afternoon.
Smoke unit was fixed and both were just as pristine as they were from the factory.
Excellent service.

Their parts department gets the stuff in the mail very fast.
Ordered 2 replacement power trucks / with coupler for my brand new CSX / Heritage 607 unit - Rear coupler keeps opening while pulling a single car. Price of the two was steep but sending it back at $25.00..... I can do the work and have extra parts in case they are needed.

Lionel has the market cornered on fast service these days. Mike Reagan runs a tight ship.
I had always had fast service from Lionel when their repair/parts center was in Ohio. It sounds like they are on par, or maybe even faster, after their relocation.
Glad to see that they value the customer enough to warrant putting the team in place to provide a fast turnaround time.
