Lionel Legacy and DCS | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I just purchased a Lionel Legacy Set. My operating system presently is DCS and TMCC. I have my command base connected to the TIU via the cable available from MTH. I use my DCS handheld to control my DCS and TMCC trains. Now that I have Legacy, would I take the MTH cable and plug the TIU into the Legacy base just as I have with the TMCC base. Would I use the "Y" cable provided? I'm sure someone has done this.

You will want to use either the 50-1007 Connector Cable or 50-1032 Legacy Connector Cable.

The 50-1018 cable is not reliable with the Legacy base.
