I could use some help. I was trying to mount my Cab 2 Legacy base on a sheet of plywood and the bottom plate of the base released and came out along with a piece of plastic. In trying to replace the base, I pulled out a wire that was soldered one or two of three connectors (see photos and I don’t know which terminals to solder back to. I also don’t know where that piece of grey plastic goes nor can I get the base plate back into the main body. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The bracket holds in the vent screen mesh. It goes over the long post.
The switch wires do not matter polarity, you can see where they broke off.
Vernon,
You have helped me before and many thanks for reaching out. It is embarrassing, of course, to be electrically ignorant. Most of these issues, I just don’t get. I wanted to make certain about the re-soldering. As for the ”vent screen mesh,” I will try to find it but I really don’t know where that is or which long post you mean. I will try again. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
Here, made a video taking mine apart to document. Sorry in advance to the camera orientation police.

The vent screens are infamous for falling out, they're the most troublesome part of reassembly.
Many thanks Vern and John
