I have a Lionel SF GP7, 6-28598. The engine was working just fine until recently. All the Legacy features work; horn, smoke, crew talk, couplers, etc. But for some strange reason, the engine no long responds to speed control using the red knob on my Cab 2.
I've reprogrammed it and also did "reset" several different times. Changed ID and even set it up as a TMCC. I made sure that the hand held profile for the engine is correct: diesel, Legacy, RS etc.
No matter what I have done, the engine runs as if it is a conventional engine and is only controllable by my ZW.
I was told that the issue has to be with the DCDS Fixed Bridge, CS-691-DCDS-109P - which is no longer available from Lionel.
Wonder if anyone has one that I can buy.
